tedwordsI totally woke up in a snarly mood today, and things haven't gotten much better yet.
--Josie took Tiger to the eye doctor today, who confirmed that he does need glasses.
--I received the results of our tax returns, and while they could have been a lot worse, for a number of reasons, we still have to pay a small amount (about $300) to the Feds.
--Someone I like at work is moving to another department--and I know that means that I'll be picking up some of the slack.
--I don't want to go to rehearsal tonight.
--Someone I really like dropped off LJ today.
The one saving grace for today is that Corb's working a double shift today, so he'll be sleeping overnight at the hotel--and I get to stay there with him. I think a change in location will be a lot of fun, although I know that my big guy will be dead to the world.
In case I haven't mentioned it, Corb's been going through this huge country music phase. I like country, and part of what we did with my bonus money Saturday is to buy a few CDs. I finally purchased Up!, by Shania Twain, who I've always drooled over. She has a great song on the CD called "Ka-Ching!" If I think about the lyrics, I could pick it apart, because she's decrying capitalism while also luxuriating in it, but it also has a good beat and makes you smile...no higher praise exists.
