Aug. 27th, 2004 10:33 amI just realized that I missed my LJ anniversary a few weeks ago--on August 10, 2002, I started this journal. Man, what a long, strange trip it's been.
One thing that I often considered is taking my old paper journals and entering them in into LJ. In fact, I once established an LJ identity for that reason. I called it
theyesterday and my plan was to record every day what I had written for that day years ago. Anyone else think about doing that, or am I just a total freak?
My friend Mary-Beth and Pauline used to get together with me, and we'd all bring our journals. It didn't happen perfectly, but it was always fun when we'd discover that we had written entries on the same day, about something that happened to all three of us. It's always fun reading about something from a different viewpoint.
Speaking of which, haven't been able to write much this week. Too busy! But a lot has happened, believe me...I need to take some time to set stuff down.
as my buddy David says, it's all about decisions...where you choose to focus your time...
