Hanging the frame

One of the problems with living with a super talented designer is that it doesn't leave much room for me to design.
Which isn't a problem, usually. I just hang back and let my man get to doing what he does so well. But one of the things I have been trying to work on lately is overcoming passivity: between the health scare last year and my new job responsibilities, I have been noticing a disturbing tendency involving being less proactive and more "let things flow, let others do."
I mean, maybe that's fine, but it's probably irritating for all the doers in my world, and life cannot be all sitting back, sipping martinis and watching shitty musicals, now, can it?
This morning, I resolved to take some action around the house: hanging a frame.
See, yesterday was Annie's graduation party (so proud of her!) and one of the gifts I received was a lovely framed photo of her in graduation garb. My immediate thought was that I wanted to hang it up on our wall of photos: pictures of people in our past and in our present, great memories that we have shared.
