Well, Kyra got out of surgery, and is back home, living life in a plastic cone.
She is a very funny puppy with a plastic cone over her head. First off, Corb thinks she kind of likes it, because whenever he takes it off, to eat or to go to the bathroom, when she returns, she kind of jumps up and down excitedly when he goes to put it back on.
The other thing is, she gets easily discombobulated navigating her way around in the plastic cone. When she bumps into something, she will stop, confused. And then, she will stand there, completely still, for about a minute.
And then, try it again.
And if she hits something again, she will stop again, trying to figure out what is going on.
Kyra is not one for change. She has always very much been a creature of habit. She has her breakfast at a certain time (when she can, I drive her to the local coffee shop, where they know her by name and give her free ham), her dinner right before ours, a treat before we eat, and a busy bone as we place her in her crate.
