Monday bullets

• Back to work today. The flu is finally gone and I feel pretty much 100 percent. Tomorrow I head off to New York City for an overnight, brought about because I'm having dinner with a few friends. Rather than taking the train home that night, I booked a hotel, and I'm looking forward to it. Will return home Wednesday morning.
• Last night, Corb and I watched Paranormal Activity Two with the kids. As a result, I woke up at three o'clock in the morning and had trouble falling back to sleep. That's the worst feeling in the world, where you sit there, listening to all the noises in the apartment, your mind making something out of the stupidest things. A little fuzzy this morning, but I'm not the one sleeping alone here on Tuesday night!
• No, I didn't watch one bit of the football games yesterday. I know, I'm a horrible person. I just don't care!
• Did you ever notice that Yahoo increasingly has idiotic things like "Twins mimic daddy's sneeze" as the thing they focus on when you type in the home page. For some reason, I expect it on Youtube, but I find it grating on Yahoo.
