Well, I set up the interview for our CEO and the technology reporter today, and everything was going fine...and then we get a fire alarm toward the end of the interview!

It made for a speedy end to the interview, but it really didn't go too badly. The only thing that I found myself battling with (once again) is my desire to be a Really Useful Person, and the feeling that I really never do quite measure up in that regard. I hope that that feeling goes away someday, but until it does, I just have to kind of bitch-slap myself mentally, and stay focused. Which for a guy with short attention span like me is not always that easy...

How many kittens do I have to rescue out of trees before I consider myself a top dog?

Note to self: Never talk to my boss when he's brain dead. He makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. He just kind of babbles, then backtracks, then moves on to another subject. Very frustrating.
