Somewhere along the line I woke up during the day...don't you hate that when it happens?

Last night before I went to bed I glanced through Chapter One and started to having a panic attack, feeling that new draft (which cuts out "What Amelia Wasn't") felt way too choppy. It's always nice to have a second set of eyes on these things, so rather than give in to panic, I asked my cellmate, Peg, to take a look at it. She's a damn good writer, and I trust her judgment, and her opinion was, "Don't think twice, it's all right." Good.

I did finish my email to Jen. Off it goes tomorrow!
