Well, this was a first, for me. I went out tonight with an LJ friend of mine, RobCelt.

My bud Michael and Lizard told me that if things got boring, I could give them a call and they'd come rescue me. But that was entirely unnecessary. We had a very nice evening. We started at Rock Bottom and then drove to a club in Boston near Fenway.

I'm discovering that I like dating. I like the discovery of getting to know a new person. I didn't do enough of this during my first bout with singlehood!

An Indication I Should Cut Back?

Last night I had a dream about being on LJ and checking postings. Even in my sleep? Stop the madness! ;)

I love this--Neal IM'd me today. He was arrested earlier this week for assaulting his ex-girlfriend. But of course, it's not his fault--it's hers for threatening to change their son Ethan's name if she marries her current boyfriend. Never mind the fact that he ran off to New York and didn't bother telling her, even though he has visitation rights on the week-end.

Not only is this a perfect example of what Josie and I will never do as our lives start to change--it's another reason that I should never get serious with this guy.

That said, let me tell you something--I wouldn't change one moment of our evenings together.

But, um...Josie..you wouldn't changte our kids' last name, would you? ;)
