(no subject)
Dec. 19th, 2002 07:35 pmI started to get real antsy by the end of the day and was so itching to run out of the office and strip off my clothes. But given the weather outside and the general New England attitude, I would have been met with a chilly reception.
The publication is finally coming along nicely. The page count has increased by four this time around, which has meant, naturally, more of a time demand. The one thing that I regret is that I didn't have any articles that were truly fun this time around, which I usually try to do. No time. I think it's also a reflection of the life that we're currently living. Anyway, it should be fairly well laid out and just need final proofing, sign-off, and legal okay by the time I leave for vacation tomorrow. I say only. That's a good two weeks right there...
Spending the evening with the boy tonight. Playing some great stuff. Life is good!
Finally finishing that damn third Harry Potter book, too. Should be saying bye-bye to it in the next few days. Egad, it was like wading through quicksand. The ending has picked up, but it just lacked..I don't know, depth? Probably a bit too much to ask for, given the subject matter. I do like that the books stretch out over the course of a school year. Those were always my favourite kind when I was a kid.
Nothing deep tonight. Sorry! Have to go on Cartoon Network.com now...the boy calls!
