tedwordsSteve called a wicked lot today--and I don't mind in the least! We talked over a lot of things, like video games in Washington and shit like that. I am so happy that we are friends.
My sister Kerrie had her graduation from junior high today. I went and Kim made up with me. I saw Steve and for a while we weren't together but somehow Kim and I added on Beth and Steve. Steve and I walked around a lot. I met Linda, who Steve sometimes pretends he is speaking with when I called and his "homosexual" father is around. Mary was very cool to him. Finally I had to go, poor Steve had to walk home from the Junior High. I felt so bad.
(2026 perspective: the fact that Steve had to pretend that I was a girl when his stepfather Dean was around is telling. Dean and Steve grew apart as time went on and were not speaking when Dean passed, which made Steve understandably sad. Dean also became rather right wing.)
