Wow, has it really been four months since I posted something in LJ? I don't like that.

It has been a busy time. Since I last posted, I've been co-directing a production of The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The final performance was Saturday night and we tore down and had the cast party on Sunday. It was a marvelous, fun show (although very silly) and there was little drama within the cast, unlike the previous year.

(In fact, the folks who caused all the drama...Jesus and Mary...whom I love, were wise not to try out and have kind of gone their own way. That may be a wise decision, but it does mean that we are now kind of distant, which makes me sad.)

Corb did the set again this year and his work just gets better and better. Proud to call him my husband.

Now that the show is over, little time to rest. Onto my next project: a one night only concert version of the musical Chess. Very much looking forward to it, but so much work today. The auditions take place the week after July 4...two weeks from now!

More to come. Gonna try a "bit by bit" technique.
