tedwordsOkay, it's Sunday morning, beautiful out, and I woke up at 8:30 to do some work on editing "Late Night Show," so I feel pretty good about the world, right now.
One thing I'm not feeling too great about is the gym situation. Corb was all gung ho to sign up for a gym about a months ago, right before the repo situation, but since we signed up, I think we've gone, possibly five or six times.
This afternoon, we have a cheerleading competition (for ASHES, silly) to go to, so I suggested that we go this morning. We couldn't last night, because it closed too early. However, Corb's all wrapped up in this "Most Haunted" show on the Travel channel, about a haunted house in Scotland. It's 10:11, and no matter how I nag him, he just sits by the couch.
It's annoying, because all of our charges are placed on my credit card, and we need to split it up, next time we go...but that never seems to happen.
A few minutes ago, Corb ran into the bedroom, hopped on the bed in his underwear, and said, "Honey, I want us to save up our money and go on a trip."
"Oh, really?" I asked, stewing like a tomato at the computer.
"Yes, I want us to go to Scotland. It looks really pretty."
"I'd love to go to Scotland again," I said, as sweetly as can be. "But you know what? There's another journey I'd like us to save up for. Do you know where it is? The gym! Can we save up our money to--oh, look! We already saved up enough money! Isn't that amazing? We can go right now!"
He grinned. "Okay, I'll take a shower."
I jumped to the bed and started to pull down his underwear. "Let me help you..."
He started slapping at me. "Ted!"
"Look, I'm helping you with Scotland, too...they only allow kilts there...and you know what they have on under their kilts!"
