tedwords--Chris Rock did a great opening monologue. But my favorite joke was the Halle Berry throwaway right before the awards started--the "eagerly awaited Catwoman 2" line...
--Whose idea was it to line up all the potential winners for the first award? What a stupid gimmick! Why not just have four trap doors rigged up, so that the losers could be evacuated as soon as the winner was announced. That would have been really entertaining, actually. Can't you sing them flinging their arms in the air, free-falling, as the winner stands there, smiling?
--Renee looked AWFUL. Corb and I compared her outfit to the one Divine wears at the end of Pink Flamingos . There wasn't much of a diference.
