Jimmy Carter was right on with his observation that the United States’s stature has been diminished globally under Bush’s.

Hillary is a far better one-on-one than she is a speechmaker. She was terrific this morning on Good morning America--confident, assured, even charming. This evening, on occasion, she came across a bit shrill, on occasion. It's the effort expended to be heard across the crows.

Bill, on the other hand, is, without a doubt, the greatest American orator of the past 50 years--and (my bias showing through) one of the ten best Presidents this country has had. And his speech was terrific--evenly measured, expertly delivered...absolutely thrilling.

Michael Moore sat in the audience, quiet and restrained. He didn't need to get excited. They were all speaking from his book.
