Our holidays decorations are all stored in the basement, and part of the reason we have been delaying putting everything away is we wanted to take some time and store things properly this time around. Frankly, after several basement floods in the past few years, a MassSaves efficiency upgrade a few months ago and the fact that my set designer husband has often used the area as a place where sets go to die, the place has been in need of a bit of a makeover.
