"Is this the right place?" Corb asked, as we pulled into the driveway.

"Looks like it," I replied, checking out the address on the invitation against the GPS. "Weird place to have a comedy fundraiser. I still don't get how the Eldredge Players is going to make any money if they only sold a table of ten."

We were at what looked like a restaurant that held corporate events. Kind of a strange location. I had never really figured out how this realy made sense as a fundraiser. Still, I had received the email from the president of the group and it looked like fun, and Corb hadn't complained too much about it, so...

We walked in the restaurant. Went to one of the main rooms and..

About 70 friends, all dressed up in the style of the Great Gatsby. All there to celebrate my birthday. I turned to Corb, shocked. Seriously? He had really pulled one over on me this time!

I mean, what more could a guy ask for? A great party, complete with a drag queen performance. I was in heaven! And we partied the night away!
