Happy 2014!

Happy New Year, everyone! Here's how we spent last night...yep, we were crazy enough to actually host the annual Skanky Swap party in our new home.

It was a lot of stress, but I have to say, it turned out to be an absolute hit. Here's a photo of the gang who were there and the awful wonderful things they picked up at the Swap. Yes, that's a painting of a seventies Elvis with eyelashes (one of which is drooping). Every year someone ends up with him, and "enhances" the painting with a few additions to for the next year (the eyelashes were new this year). Josie has him for 2014, and I can't wait to see what he looks like next year.

It was a wonderful 2013. It was a wonderful way to end out the year. Corb, Ashes, Alix and I stayed up until four in the morning sitting around on the couch and talking.

I can't wait to see what great things 2014 is going to bring.
