A little knowledge.

Today we were talking about Ashes' best friend, and Slacker Chad's sister, Jo-Ellen. As I've mentioned before, although Chad's mother is convinced these two crazy kids have only gone so far sexually--because she knows her kid so well, and they tell everything to each other--in fact, according to Ashes, she's been active for quite some time.
"But that's okay," said Ashes today, with a smirk, and then whispered to Theo. "Because Adam doesn't...um, finish what he starts."
"What does that matter?" I asked, because I'm not that deaf.
"Because that means she can't get pregnant," said Ashes.
"That doesn't mean that at all," I replied.
"Sure it does," she said, absolutely convinced.
"You do realize that men generate sperm before ejaculation, right? I asked.
Of course at that point, both Theo and Ashes sent all "la la la" on me, but I kept up, because the kids need to know these things. Even Theo didn't realize! More proof of how important it is for kids to get the facts about sex, because what they don't know...can get them in a lot of trouble.
