I am feeling so freaking productive today, it's not even funny. So what if the snow caused me to get into work forty minutes late? So what if I've been IM'ng Corbie all day. So what if I've been scrolling through LJ constantly, even as I'm pitching? All of this hasn't slowed me down one bit.

Today is a good day. I'll tell more New York stories later on, but needless to say, it was great (although driving in to Boston during the blizzard on Saturday was a little scary). Especially driving down 95 Sunday morning, being blinded by huge gusts of snow.

My internet's been working terribly at home, which is part of the reason that I haven't been posting much. We thought it might be the internet provider's fault--but it wasn't. Then we thought it was a virus. We did round up some nasty viruses, but I think I discovered the bigger culprit--Thumbkin likes to crawl behind the desk, and had loosened some of the connections. Go figure.

Finished The DaVinci Code . It was a really great read, although, critic that I am, there are some improbabilities there that bugged me. My favorite was the thought of the female french cryptologist helping our protagonist to drag a 300-pound Albino through an airplane hanger in a matter of seconds, in order to fool security. Yeah, like that can actually happen. But all in all, the concepts were incredibly intriguing, and the short length of the chapters made it something you just felt compelled to continue reading.

Okay. Constantine actually looks good. At last, someone's finally seen the potential in DC's Vertigo titles. Can Doom Patrol or Shade the Changing Man be far away?
