Dirty Dream Number Two by Belle and Sebastian is playing...awesome!

Yesterday was a busy day, and the five-hour car ride home made me somewhat cranky and paranoid. Also, Josie called to tell me that the toilet overflowed at home and that she couldn't use a plunger to stop it because Annie had taken it for work and left it in the back of her car! When she asked her why she would take it without asking, she was like, "oops!" Then, when I returned back to the office at ten at night, Corb's car broke down and he was forced to call AAA.

Finally, my cell phone freaked out last night and ate my address book. So, if youze LJ buds could do me a favour and supply me with your phone number, either by replying to this or by emailing me at vernslater@yahoo.com, I'd appreciate it!

For some reason, when I sleep next to Corbett, I remember my dreams. For the past fifteen years, I very rarely have been able to do this, so it's a welcome surprise...but I'm not at all certain why it's happening.

I've discovered that I have dreams that continue from evening to evening. Last night, for example, I dreamed that I was directing my third play for Eldredge Players, a non musical. It was the second or third rehearsal. I had had an earlier rehearsal in a dream that occurred lying next to Corb on Sunday night.

In the dream, Emma from Jekyll and Hyde was unhappy with me because I had failed to plan out what I wanted to do at rehearsal, and took matters into her own hand, and I was pissed, and threatened to quit the show.

Not planning for a rehearsal is totally anti-Ted, but I think that the roots of the dream are obvious. With the play done, it's one of those anxiety dreams similar to being in college and showing up the day of the final exam, not having attended any classes.
