Jan. 20th, 2004 03:13 pmMy cellmate Peg and I are talking about who we think will win the Democratic nomination. Our only consensus: anyone but Lieberman. Al Gore and Lieberman were the most uncharasmatic combination ever to run for office in the history of the world--and yet they still won the last Presidential election!
And onto something completely different...something has been really bugging me these past few months...not related to anything that I usually talk about. Ever get the feeling that you're not being completely told the whole story, that you were found wanting in some way, but nobody has the guts to tell you that? How do you figure that one out? It's hard to tell sometimes whether it's a true assessment of a situation or simply paranoia.
Man, sometimes I wish people were more forthcoming.
