God, I can't wait for the apartment to open up. I think it will do all of us good.

I followed up with my call to Jennifer and received a call back from her assistant.

We arranged for an appointment next week while I'm in New York. She scheduled me for a half an hour meeting to discuss the book!

I tried to play it cool, as if this sort of thing happens all the time. But of course, inside, I felt as though I was about to explode.

This is a great step. A meeting with an agent from one of the largest agencies in the world...I'm psyched! I cannot blow this opportunity!
