I'm reading a great book on writing right now, which I'm sure everyone else in the world has read. It's called Bird by Bird, by Anne Lamott, and it contains a great poem at the start, by Phillip Lopate, which pretty sums up my view of the world. So I wanted to put it down in my journal.

I don't know if I mentioned this before, but Annie recently received her driver's license and now has a registered vehicle on the road. And if you don't think that's an unsettling thought, then think again.
