What was the deal with LJ last night?
Feb. 20th, 2003 07:11 am Here's what I was just about to post when it went down...
Totally huge honking day. I simply cascaded from meeting to meeting like a pinball set amongst the corporate bumperguards.
Had to wake up early to get in for seven. Josie had jury duty and used the good car to get to New Befford (to employ the New England dialect), so I drove in with Lou the insane Ecuardorian speed demon and spent the 40 minute drive with my eyes stapled shut.
Actually, she received a ticket last week, so she only drove eighty today.
Had to interview one of our Veeps at 1:00. The lady's insane. She talks 80 miles an hour and likes to hit you on the arm to wake you up. This is okay once in a while, but every five minutes starts to get tiresome, and you start to develop a bruise. Can't she change tactics, and possibly just knee you in the groin for variety's sake every once in a while?
She is dynamic, and likes to draw you in, but the Sound Engineer, who's a bit of a pinhead, started to get carried away and took the opportunity to start offering his opinions during the interview. Sorry, fuckwad, I don't really give a shit what you have to say. At least on tape.
The most enjoyable part of the day started at 4:15. I'm performing tomorrow with a group of five other actors and we walked through the songs. That took me until 6:30, at which time Josie picked me up and we went out to dinner with Tiger and Ashley.
Calling Maurice tonight after nine. He watches Enterprise.
