Frank was delighted because Todd is leaving Saturday. He can't wait. I told Todd "au revoir."
Earlier that day, I had a talk with Steve. He thought I was upset with him, but I actually wasn't, this time. He said he'd always stop for any animal, and I said I tried, but I couldn't stop prevent hitting it.
Tonight's rehearsal was just for Coleen, Jason (who is not home yet), Bill and I. Sandy was also there for work. She's really very nice. How she is able to put up with Frank, who tried to recite to her an entire song, is beyond me.
Bill drove Frank and I home. It was a very "knowing" conversation. "Frank's the one who's into video games," he said. As if we were talking about our significant others.
[2026 Observation: I remember liking this feeling. Corb and I have never really had another gay couple that we could talk domestic bliss with. This was a feeling I tasted briefly in this moment...and not, frankly, truly. But I always wish that I had.]
When I arrived home, Laurie wanted to know who the gorgeous guy was who was behind the wheel. I laughed and said, "He's all Frank's."
