tedwordsAbout a week ago, I posted about the fact that I was dreading doing my taxes, because I was sure I was going to owe a ton.
Just received the returns from my accountant today. Turns out, I had nothing to worry about! Actually, I am getting a refund of about 4,000 back, primarily because of the house.
I am a pretty hamper camper tonight! Which is good, because it's such a beautiful night out. First spring evening without rain or snow, and the weather is so mild out we can keep the windows open. On Friday nights I tend to sleep on the couch downstairs and watch old movies and TV shows, and there's no better feeling in the world. Right now I am totally geeking out on a TV series produced in the 1950s about Sherlock Holmes. Some of the plots are absolutely ludicrous and full of flaws, but that's part of the charm, actually.
So, what's the price of having all your wishes come true? Hmmm, I guess there is no price but to enjoy. Thanks, universe!
