tedwordsToday is the Global Concert for the Earth, Live Earth. Venues all over the world are hosting tons of great acts...all to raise money and awareness of our environmental crisis.
Take time to watch a little of it online or on television. Go to liveearth.org to see their concert schedule, watch the show (you can watch whatever venue you want, or watch the world feed), and pledge to adopt those small changes to save our planet!

Now, on a strictly nonsensical note (what else would you expect from me?), I have to tell you, having just seen Duran Duran perform, I have to say, I'm very depressed. Now granted, they were never the best performers in the world (one of my favorite books, "The Worst Rock and Roll Records of All Time," lists them as the second runner up on a list of "Worst Rock and Rollers of All Time"), but at least, back in the day, they were pretty cute...except for frontman Simon LeBon, who's referred to as "Simon Le Bow Wow" in the previously-mentioned book.
Oddly enough, Simon looks exactly the same, but as for the others...ugh! John Taylor used to be one of the handsomest guys ever, especially in the "Hungry Like the Wolf" video.
