You ever have one of those days where nothing you touch goes right?

That was yesterday, for me. It just seemed that whatever I got involved in had someone or something attached to it whose sole purpose was to reveal me as bad, negligent, unprepared, or just downright awful.

Oh, I'm probably exaggerating, just a bit. But I haven't had a day where I've been so glad to leave the office in a long time.

And, as I was leaving, I checked my inbox, and there was a message from Corb. "Are you coming home now? Because I'm really ready to leave this place."

As it turns out, we were both having bad days. When I reached his work, I opened up the car door, waited until he sat down, and said, "Tell me all about it."

It will be nice to get to Friday this week, because I have the day off, in preparation for my performance of Love Letters in New Hampshire. From what Psychic Sue tells me, this may turn out to be something of a disaster. I hope not, but if it does, at least it will make for an interesting story!

See, that's the way to look at it all, I guess. It's not a crummy day. It's a story for your journal.

Still, I suppose it could have been worse. I could an astronaut caught traveling across the country trying to wipe out a romantic rival wearing a trenchcoat, a wig, and space diapers...she might be qualified to call her day the worst ever...
