tedwordsChecked into the St. Regis. Can anything be better than arriving at a first-rate hotel and discovering that everything's been paid for in advance? They even call me by my first name when I call down for service! (I know, I'm so provincial about these things...)
Just finished the pre-dinner meeting. We came out, and that guy who played Jack on Dawson's Creek was talking on his cell phone in the lobby.
And even more exciting, to me: when I returned to my room, there was a big bowl of fresh fruit on my nightstand! The grapes are going down nicely with the Starbucks coffee that I picked up across the street.
