tedwordsThis morning I forced myself to wake up at five, alongside das Corbster, who had to get to work for six. Me, I just wanted to make up for some lost time yesterday.
Well, I managed to get in to work for seven, and it was great, for the first few hours. I managed to get a ton of stuff done...but now, I'm totally about to fall asleep! Even with about five gallons of coffee in my belly, I want to just crawl under the table and take a nap.
You ever notice how some people have really annoying verbal tics? We have this one guy in the office who says "exactly!" every five seconds, when you're talking to him. It's become something of a joke, actually. I spoke to him on the phone today, and he must have said it at least seven times (I counted). Even when it doesn't make sense...
Me: I think I'll paint my head pink tomorrow.
Him: Exactly!
Me: The power of Christ compels you.
Him: Exactly!
Me: I think people who say Exactly all the time should have their tongues ripped out.
Him: Exact--whuh?
okay...back to work...
