I think it's really interesting that, despite all the heavy marketing I've seen for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory , I haven't the slightest idea what Charlie actually looks like. I know what Willie Wonka looks like, for sure. He's Johnny Depp doing Michael Jackson. But isn't it ironic that this version of the movie elected to be true to the original source, and not subsitute Charlie for Wonka in the title--and yet, none of the publicity even sees fit to promote the title character?
