tedwordsYeseterday, Corb and I spent the day with the kids. Really, it was a day filled with little things, but the whole lot added up quite nicely.
One of the nicest parts was finding ways to be affectionate with my man. The corridor leading to our apartment witnessed an awful lot of loving yesterday!
Oklahoma is moving along. Out first read through is Tuesday. I finally secured the right person to play Gertie. I've been awfully picky with selection of that role, because it's not really a pleasant part to play.
Still in the doldrums, a bit, that the play is sucking the creative wind out of other projects. But Corb has been terribly supportive on that end, and when Josie called last night, she was convinced she had found a publisher for "our story." I'm not sure exactly what that means, but it will be interesting to find out.
We've been racing through Season Seven of Buffy, and I like it, but certain little things kind of bug me. Like the fact that the characters for any given week sort of float in and out. Giles will be there one week, then, inexplicably, not appear the following episode. The same with the teenage girls. It's kind of life watching someone smile, and suddenly realizing that they're missing one or two teeth.
