It's another traveling week for me. Tomorrow at 9:30 I head off to New York for a two day trip. It actually sounds more fun than it will undoubtedly be, since I'll spend most of the time in meetings. They'll be cooping me up in the Helmsley Hotel (which is okay, although some of the rooms look like the 80s threw up all over them), and Tuesday night we're having a dinner at Angelo and Maxie's Steakhouse. And after that, I'm sure my bud David will drag me to the Village, to drink.
I remember that on one of these trips, I got so drunk that when I returned from the Village to the Stuytown condo I was staying at, and I couldn't remember where my place was located, so I spent half an hour stumbling through every floor in the joint. I finally found my condo, but it was a pretty disorienting and scary experience.
