tedwordsFor some reason, Live Journal's moving really quickly on my computer today. Not sure why that's happening, but I like it!
Last night Corb and I went out to dinner with his mom and grandmom. Chinese. All you can eat, and a huge selection. Good stuff!
After that, I did something that I've been putting off since I moved out of the house. For the past year, I've been using a laptop, and while it's functional, it's not ideal. I need a mouse pad and a heavy-duty keyboard (my one-fingered typing skills really do a number on computers, because I'm really fast with that one finger), I need speed and a lot of memory in order to get what I need to get accomplished! For example, I really couldn't send out query letters from the laptop, because I didn't have a printer, and the Printmaster package Josie used to create the letter couldn't be set up on the laptop, so I'd have to pester her to get stuff out, and then there was the whole problem of saving the letters somewhere. So I see this as an investment in my career, and I'm pleased with my choice, which was not an extravagant one.
Believe it or not, though, I didn't set it up last night, when I arrived home. Distracted, okay? :)
Tomorrow I go to my first gay wedding. That should be interesting. And yes, I will be posting the next chapter of "The Late Night Show"!
