New beginnings

Look, Ashes has been out of her bedroom in Green Victoria since the pandemic really started.

So it occurred to me this week, why am I letting it just sit there? Why not do something with the space? Why not start imagining moving building four walls of my own, for creativity, for meditation, for moving forward?

It's only small starts right now. I have boxed up her clothes and many of her books. Purchased a cheap rug and moved a comfy chair from our bedroom. Added a space for burning incense.

But it's a beginning and it feels...peaceful.

Don't worry about Corb. He is building a space to refurbish his chandeliers in the backyard.

We will make excellent empty nesters.
