Waiting for Sandy

Today I was supposed to be traveling into New York for a three day trip. I cancelled that yesterday when the subways closed down.

I spent the day working in the apartment. Most everyone else didn't do much of anything, from what I can tell. Still, they are all in New York.

At two, Corb and Theo arrive home. Half an hour later, we lost the internet twice and electricity once. That was my cue to call it quits from work for the day.

It hasn't been bad in Eldredge at all, so far. Of course, I'm in Massachusetts, so Hurricane Sandy hasn't reached us much, yet. The worst that has happened is that TJ can't get Star Wars to play on the TV in the living room, as it's on VHS.

We may actually be rather lucky. Let's hope!
