tedwordsI've got to wait about ten minutes before I hit a button and send out an important announcement, and don't really want to focus on anything important before I do that, so I'm passing the time by typing here.
Writing is going well with a new story that I've been working on. I'm about 70 pages into it right now and wrote a bit every day this week-end. Of course, it's a first draft, so it's shit, but I'm thinking of posting up a few chapters just for the heck of it. It's something I started last year but had to put down when Amelia started to get hot. We'll see. It's called (for now) "The Late Night Show."
Going to Connecticut Wednesday night with my friend David for a work thing. That should be interesting. David is a good guy, but can be a bit of a pain sometimes. I think he's great, but he tends to irritate the bejesus out of Josie.
And I'd still like to be a superhero when I grow up. Preferably one that can turn invisible. Just in case you were wondering.
Oh, and when I die, in case I haven't mentioned this, I want it to read on my tombstone, "He fed the animals." Because if there's one thing that can be said about me, one redeeming feature that's carried through my entire life, that's it. There, I feel better now. "He fed the animals, and he wanted to be an invisible superhero." Think I could fit that?
