Oct. 25th, 2003 02:32 pmHad a great night with the kids last night. I had all from eight on and it was great. I had wished to go to the movies with them to see "School of Rock," but Annie vetoed that idea and we ended up snuggling in bed, watching movies, instead.
I also rented "Down with Love," for myself. I saw half an hour of it last week and liked the style.
Tonight I'm going to a fundraiser for Perishable Theater. The dress code is fashionably funky, whatever the hell that means. Peg told me I should wear a mock turtleneck. I can do mock.
The lineup looks fun. Free drinks until 9:30, then a freak show hosted by Miss Pixie, and featuring Blue Man Group. Tim Daly will be there, but I think that he's there just to be there. Hey, who knows, perhaps I'll meet someone suitably funky.
I've been wooed this week by a guy who has a 12-year-old daughter and who says he runs his own private airline. I don't know. I'm a bit snarky this week, and not particularly in the mood for wooing. Down with love, I say. But he seems like a nice enough guy.
Both computers are acting funky. This is frustrating. I have the need to get things out...to create...to put finishing touches on Amelia. That explains the snarkiness, I'm sure.
Anyway, X, I'll have a few martinis on you at the open bar. Boom shakalaka boom!
