So there it was, on the front page of the Providence Journal today: 250 or more Democratic hopefuls turned out to visit with Clinton at the Cowesett home of top GTECH executive Donald Sweitzer. I wonder if my little Lizard strolled over?
Also in the paper: Bush tells reporters that he intends to "ride herd" in the Middle East. What the hell does that mean, anyway?
Meanwhile, Clinton has a fascinating quote about politics, open to all sorts of discourse: "People need to believe that politics is not only an honorable profession but one with serious consequences in our lives."
Is it too much to ask for a President who can actually string two words together and construct a sentence?
